Say No To Bill HB2211

Bill HB2211 has been introduced in the Missouri House of Representatives. This bill aims to create a “vaping product registry” and would require all manufacturers to obtain a marketing authorization from the Food and Drug Administration for each product sold, as well as an annual $200 fee for each product.

This would go into effect January 1st, 2025, and by June 1st, 2025, all retailers would be prohibited from selling products not on this list. Any products not in this directory would be labeled contraband and subject to seizure and destruction.

Currently there are no products that would meet these criteria and if enacted would give manufacturers and retailers only months to take the requisite actions. This would be a huge hurdle to vape stores and consumers in Missouri and be an extreme blow to the availability of smoke free nicotine alternatives. Please contact your representative and let them know how you feel.

We are working our hardest to represent the rights of Missourian to have access to vapor products and we will do everything in our power get this bill rejected.
